75th Anniversary Celebrations

Welwyn Garden City residents will have known Godshaw Jewellers for as long as they can remember, and no wonder! Godshaws is the oldest business in the Garden City still run by the same family. The Godshaws have proudly served customers from far and wide for 75 years, servicing watches, repairing family heirlooms, selling wedding rings to generations of couples, sharing in special occasions, Christmases, birthdays, anniversaries and other milestone celebrations. Godshaws has been at the heart of the community since 1947, and we would like to celebrate our 75th anniversary with you. Without you, our wonderful customers, we wouldn’t be here! You’ve seen us through the decades, and most recently of course you’ve helped keep us going during and after the pandemic. Your continued loyalty, custom, and your friendship too, has kept this business alive. 

When Freddy Godshaw opened our doors in 1947, I wonder if he had any idea of what the next 75 years would hold, and that customers would still look to his son as their family jeweller for years to come. 

On the 31st October, we will release the details of a huge in-store and online event running for 3 days only, from Thursday 3rd November to Saturday 5th November. It’s the first time Godshaws has run a store wide event of this kind, and you would not want to miss it!
